Lovers, rivals, performers, duettists, it was such a stormy relationship but it produced great music from both parties

Our Bob and Joan concentrates on the songs and music, with Gary Sear the perfect Bob part and Anja Rodford with a voice so pure it could be Joan herself singing along

Drummer Ian introduced Anja to Gary - he knew her boyfriend at the time

Ian told him that she was passionate about Joan Baez. The three of them had an impromptu jam session outside The Boot Pub in St Albans one Sunday afternoon

Anja knew all the words, had a voice to die for and we started to incorporate her into the set

Bob and Joan also evolved into a separate act, often joined by various guest musicians
