Hi Bob

Just s quick line to let you know how much I enjoyed your gig at The Tree House on

Saturday in Frome . Thought the whole set up was great . I was the one who got the

'Alias' question right , thanks for my pint.

You're voice was good despite your trip to Bristol Docks .

I enjoyed 'Desolation Row' , not one that you hear much . The American Horror writer Steven King

had it on his 'Desert Island Discs' once . I remember going to see Dylan at Hammersmith

Odeon ( as it was called once ) , sometime in the 90's I think and I had read that he kept

a piano on stage but never played it . On the night I went he went across to the piano ,

sat down and sang 'Desolation Row' to tremendous cheers .

I felt the whole band did a great job and I'm sure everyone on Saturday had a great

evening .

Thanks once again and I will make sure that I will see you in the not too distant future .

Gary and band, Great gig at Oddfellows, Apsley, February

Truly amazing that when you closed your eyes,

you felt Bob was singing himself.

And it was clear to see by all the love and passion you have for Bob's music.

Great singing and musicians.

I love the way you style your gig/show,

going through the time and period Bob wrote his song and when he 1st played it.

Giving more insight to Bob.

The Oddfellows pub, a beautiful and homily venue for good music,

run by the nice landlord's Brett and Kim.

Again, Gary, a gentleman, cant wait to see the next gig.

And best of luck with your stage project of Bob in Ware.

Thanks Aidan.

"A song is anything that can walk by itself".

Well perhaps not quite by themselves. A little help from Gary Sear and his band of Dylanophiles was necessary to get these songs going. But they were running not walking. These guys have taken the trouble to turn the tribute band phenomenon into the real deal.

This was an upbeat, life affirming performance with a well chosen selection of, maybe 25 or 30 of the cream of Bob Dylan. There were acoustic numbers. Electric numbers - Judas! Sizzling rockers - Hurricane, Highway 61, Subterranean Homesick Blues. Lyrical masterpieces - Tambourine Man, Hard Rain, She Belongs to Me. Ones that don't get played much - 4th time Around, Silvio. And the one that blows you away everytime - Like a Rolling Stone.

Bob's rich song heritage needs to be both protected and promoted by those of us who care. It's in safe hands with these guys. I left this event completely tangled up in blue.

Just keep on keeping on boys.

I think word is getting round about you guys and the place was pretty much full again for another fine collection of Dylan songs. Great vocals again Gary, you always seem to deliver the songs as good as anyone possibly can barring Dylan of course! Well maybe that's not right since Dylan's voice is a little inconsistent at times. We missed the violin, hopefully next time, really makes a difference to some of the songs. Special request how about Everything is Broken a song for the bankers! And Sad Eyed Lady for me, always liked that song and maybe get Joan Baez to duet, the girl was good I thought. Also like Jack Of Hearts, well the list of great songs just goes on doesn't it really too many to choose from. Keep up the good work, I guess me and the wife are part of your fan club now.

I stumbled across this gig by accident, and what an accident! I've always loved Dylan's music and this band interpret it with great style and an obvious deep respect for the source material. Being a guitarist myself (sort of) I particularly loved the subtle and tasteful way that sinuous Telecaster licks weaved around the vocals, enhancing them without ever being a distraction.

I had a great evening. Their next St Albans gig is in my diary

Only caught a few songs but brilliant as always.
