The iconic Feinstein photo of Bob waiting for the ferry across the river Severn the day after playing Bristol. Its also the cover for No Direction Home. For years, I always thought it must have been perhaps San Francisco, with the bridge in the background, as we didn’t see the pic until later. Then realised it was at the old Aust Ferry terminal, now sadly gone and replaced with the 2 bridges across to Wales.

Strange fact: the man who sold Bob the ticket is one of our guest keyboard players in-laws. Who had no idea who it was, crossing. Still one of our favourite photos
